I don't think that's the case with this one, but it doesn't tie up everything neatly in the end. And I think it works.

Hijab (or hejab as they pronounce it in Persian) can be either the head covering alone or the entire outfit - scarf and loose coat or chador. I didn't know that a chador was just the scarf part in Afghanistan. In Iran, it's a huge semicircle of cloth that you wrap around your head and body and hold in place with one hand. It takes a LOT of practice to wear one without tripping over it and falling flat on your face. There are some tailored ones now with sleeves sewn in.Heidi Noroozyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03351899620446316075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8018311341701044333.post-33002603492958658832011-03-14T22:26:51.797-04:002011-03-14T22:26:51.797-04:00So what's difference between a chador and a hi...So what's difference between a chador and a hijab? Oh, did you know, one of the old Slavic traditions is jumping over the fire on the New Years Eve (and other occasions too, for fun as well as cleansing; that's how the Snow Maiden finds her unlucky end)Lina Zeldovichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04258464515913616152noreply@blogger.com
